Pakistani authorities imposed restrictions barring foreign media from reporting across most of the country and curbing local journalists, the Guardian and the New York Times reported. The Guardian says the rules came soon after dozens of protesters were killed, news of which was reported only by overseas outlets, as a protest movement in Kashmir challenges Islamabad's authority.
